The Free Clothing Room will be open Tuesday, August 18th & Thursday, August 20th from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. for families to come and shop. All clothing is free to families who attend Strafford Schools. The racks are full of new and gently used clothes ranging in sizes from 3T to adult plus sizes. There is also a huge selection of shoes.

You may enter through the main middle school entrance or the back door entrance by the Free Clothing Room. There will be signs to direct you where to go. If you have any questions, or difficulty finding where to go, please feel free to contact Kristi Taylor, Free Clothing Room Coordinator, at (417) 224-2929 by calling or texting.

The Teepee Resource Room will be open Thursday, August 20th from 4:00-7:00 P.M.

All Strafford families are welcome to come shop. All clothing, toys and other items are geared for ages 0-6!

The TeePee Resource Room is located in the middle school by the FEMA building. Look for the outside door with a teepee on it.

Anyone requesting a copy of your Strafford High School transcript (i.e. for employee, college and/or scholarship purposes) will need to fill out the form found by visiting the link found HERE. You will receive a confirmation email from the Counseling Office stating the date and time the transcript was sent to the requested location. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 72 hours, please follow up with the counseling office administration assistant at taylors@straffordschools.net.

Mark your calendars for the Strafford Elementary Booster Club Annual Back to School Bash!

Friday, August 28th from 4:00-6:00 P.M. on the Elementary Playground

There will be food, games, inflatables and a water slide... so bring towels and be prepared to get wet!

Afterwards, head on over to the football field to cheer on our Varsity Strafford Indians as they take on the Carl Junction Bulldogs at 7:00 P.M.!

Are you planning your family trips for the 2026-27 school year?

We've highlighted important school breaks to help families plan vacations. Key breaks include:

• Thanksgiving Break - November 23-27
• Christmas Break - December 21-January 4
• Spring Break - March 15-19
• Last Day of School - May 26

There are also lots of 3 day weekends set in our district calendar. Attendance matters, and we appreciate your partnership in helping students succeed!

2026-27 New Student Registration and Re-Enrollment is now OPEN!

This is NOT FOR CURRENT students or those who completed Preschool/Kindergarten Screenings in the Spring of 2026. This process is for all students who have never attended Strafford Schools OR those who previously attended Strafford and are transferring back.

The Strafford Board of Education approved the 2026-27 school calendar at the January meeting. Visit the link found HERE to view it!

The Master Facility Planning Committee worked last spring to gather feedback and identify needs and priorities for the district over the next five to ten years. The plan was completed and finalized over the summer and some projects have already been completed using available district funds, including a newly renovated track, a new video scoreboard, and new goal posts. 

The original plan from 2013 was included as a reminder of what the district has been able to accomplish thanks to the wonderful community of Strafford. You will notice that the needs identified in 2013 were met and even exceeded. This is due to the support of our community. As we move into the current facility plan, we are excited to continue to meet the needs of our students and community through improvements and additions in many areas to include the auditorium, the Vo Ag facility, ADA playground, as well as others. This is not necessarily an all inclusive list, however it helps up prioritize needs moving forward. 

This is an exciting time for Strafford Schools as we strive to Set the Standard, Model Excellence, and Maximize Potential!
